Zolt Captain (Waiter Ordering App)

Strategic Objective: Operational Security and Hardware Integrity.

Device & Sensor Permissions

Camera for QR Identification

Zolt Captain requires Camera Access to scan Table QR Codes. This is a critical security feature that ensures orders are physically linked to a specific table, preventing fraudulent order placement. No photos are stored in your device’s gallery.

Local Network Visibility

The app may scan for local IP addresses to maintain a stable socket connection with the Zolt Kitchen Display System (KDS), ensuring orders aren't lost during Wi-Fi fluctuations.

Hardware Fingerprinting

We collect your device model and UUID to ensure that only 'White-listed' tablets authorized by the restaurant owner can interact with the POS backend.

Data Flow & AWS Integration

Real-time Synchronization

Every order item, modification request, and table status update is synced instantly to AWS.

Session Management

To prevent unauthorized access, sessions are protected by Firebase OTP. Inactive sessions are automatically logged out after a period defined by the restaurant owner.

Universal Legal Clauses
