Critical Location Disclosure
Background Location Access
Zolt Staff requires Background Location permission to enable the 'Workplace Geofence' feature. This allows the app to verify your proximity to the restaurant even if the app is minimized or the screen is off at the moment of clocking.
Privacy-First Tracking
Tracking is event-based. We do not maintain a continuous live map of your movements. Location data is only recorded at the precise second of a 'Clock-in' or 'Clock-out' event.
Purpose of Collection
This data is collected solely to prevent 'buddy punching' and to provide verifiable attendance records for payroll accuracy.
Data Rights & Governance
Employment Records
We collect your full name, phone number, and shift logs. This data is managed by Techmen Infotech on behalf of your employer.
Data Portability Limits
To ensure the security of the restaurant's operational data, staff members do not have the right to export internal company shift databases or other employees' records.
Withdrawal of Consent
You may disable location permissions at any time via your OS settings; however, doing so may prevent you from using the automated attendance features of the Zolt ecosystem.
Universal Legal Clauses
Cross-Border Data Transfer
You acknowledge that Techmen Infotech (Parent Company) is based in India. Your data may be transferred to and processed on AWS servers in various regions.
Third-Party Sub-Processors
We utilize Firebase (Google) for OTP/Messaging and Nuvei/Global Pay for payment tokenization. These entities have their own privacy protocols which are incorporated herein by reference.
Data Breach Protocol
In the event of a data breach, Techmen Infotech will notify the Data Protection Board (India) or the Privacy Commissioner (Canada) and the affected users within 72 hours of verification.
